The White Matter Study Group is seeking nominations for the position of Student Representative (2009-2010).  The deadline for nominations (February 28th, 2009) has passed.

You can nominate a colleague or yourself. To be eligible, a nominee must presently be a student member of the ISMRM, or a post-doc who is a member of ISMRM (excluding post-docs about to finish and have accepted a faculty positions). Individuals who have held office in the past 18 months (which is the case for Thor Bjarnason and me) are not eligible.

My duties and initiatives included organizing the WMSG poster competition for the upcoming ISMRM meeting, collaborating with Thor Bjarnason to maintain and expand WMSG.org, chairing a proffered session at the WMSG meeting in Krakow, and sitting in the WMSG general meeting as a voice for the student members.

Please submit your nominations to me by February 28th. An online ballot will commence shortly afterward.  The incoming student representative will take over during the ISMRM meeting in Hawaii.
